The Circle Dance HOUR

-

Your chance to get moving and shake your tail feather after sitting all morning.

Dancing in a circle is an ancient tradition common to many cultures for marking special occasions and strengthening community.

Modern circle dance draws on the rich and diverse traditional dances of many countries including the Balkans,  Greece, Israel, and Eastern Europe.

There is also a growing repertoire of new dances choreographed to contemporary music and songs.

Dances can be lively and energetic or gentle and reflective, but all create a sense of wellbeing and community.

Don’t worry about having no dance experience, or going wrong. Absolute beginners are welcome, and there are no wrong steps, only variations!

Wear comfy shoes and clothes that allow you to move, even if you only want to do so very gently.
