Andrew Dickinson

Andrew Dickinson

Andrew is the John Birch Organ Scholar at the University of Sussex, and the Director of Music at St Nicholas Church, Brighton. He’s worked as a semi-professional musician for over a decade, playing the organ and piano, conducting, and singing in choirs, covering a whole range of musical styles (from the BBC Proms, to film recordings, to backing singing for musicians including Noel Gallagher and Ray Davies).

Outside of music, Andrew is also a PhD student at Sussex – exploring how the UK partners with religious actors – and works for an NGO called the Lokahi Foundation, which works to cultivate harmonious, diverse communities through social impact projects and research.
