Universal Quantum is a UK company developing the world’s first million qubit quantum computer.
As well as being Co-Founder and CEO of Universal Quantum, Dr Sebastian Weidt is a Senior Lecturer in Quantum Technologies at the University of Sussex, with over 12 years’ experience in quantum computing.
He is part of the Ion Quantum Technology Group at the Sussex Centre for Quantum Technologies. His academic work includes the co-creation of the first scalable quantum computer blueprint which invented a pioneering approach to building the life-changing million qubit machine.
Prior to this, Sebastian was a management consultant in Berlin focusing on the renewable energy sector.
